The Ramsey gardening season begins with our Heirloom Tomato and Veggie Plant Sale in the parking lot of the Masonic Temple on Franklin Tpke.
June 7
The Strawberry Festival kicks off our Farmers’ Market events. We’ll dish out free strawberry shortcake at the Ramsey train depot, and Flower Power crafts — paper flowers, necklaces, earrings and shadowboxes — will be on sale.
August 16
The Peach Festival at the Farmers’ Market always draws a crowd. It’s the second in our season of Farmers’ Market festivals at the Ramsey train depot. Enjoy peaches and cream — the perfect snack for a hot August day — while you select your favorite Flower Power crafts.
September 12
Once again, Flower Power crafts will be featured at our Ramsey Day booth. Visitors will find paper flower shadowboxes, large and small paper flowers, and colorful flower necklaces, plus plant markers, keychains, and wine bottle gift tags..
September 27
We’ll welcome autumn with an Apple Festival at the Farmers’ Market. Our famous apple cake recipe is on p. 42 of our What’s What in Ramsey booklet. As always, our Flower Power crafts will be displayed.
